Live In Your Purpose

Greetings, Loved Ones, on this crisp Wednesday morning!

Today, I choose to celebrate the unique characteristics of the winter season rather than bemoan the fact that a new blanket of the white stuff is covering everything this morning. After all, everything that GOD has created is beautiful and has a purpose.

GOD has designed everything, every season, with purpose to address the minutest details of his creation. That includes us! Thinking about all that I’ve learned, seen and experienced over the years of my life, I can’t think of a single person or thing that has no purpose. I empathize with people who feel stuck because they don’t think they know their purpose; therefore, they experience the void of unfulfillment. On the other hand, there are those who know their purpose and are content with lollygagging through life avoiding their responsibility, thereby, missing the fruit of fulfillment. Then there are those who are dedicated to living in their purpose and spewing the joy of GOD’s blessings everywhere they can.

The lesson in Matthew 25:14-29, the Parable of the Ten Talents, is relatable to how seriously we must take doing everything we can to honor and fulfill our purpose in life. Our gifts, talents, skills, and abilities are not for us to highlight ourselves but to honor and glorify GOD who designed us down to the minutest details…because of who we are in Him.

When we showcase our purpose in life, our talents, we showcase GOD!

Matthew 25:29 AMP – For to everyone who has [and values his blessings and gifts from GOD, and has used them wisely], more will be given, and [he will be richly supplied so that] he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have [because he has ignored or disregarded his blessings and gifts from GOD], even what he does have will be taken away.

Philippians 2:13 AMP – For it is [not your strength, but it is] GOD who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.

Prayer: Omnificent GOD, Creator of all things, thank You for the rich treasures of purpose that You have poured into us. We look to You for guidance and directions by the Holy Spirit. Help us to handle everything that You have given us with stewardship excellence. In JESUS’ Name, we ask and thank You. Amen.

Love Always,

SpreadSonshine!
