The Fruit of Our Obedience

The Fruit of Our Obedience

Good Wednesday morning, Loved Ones! Even if the clouds are muting the brilliance of the morning sun, we are assured that it is shining as brightly as always above the clouds on this brand new day that the LORD has made.

Psalm 105:3 AMP – Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those who seek and require the Lord [as their most essential need] rejoice.

We have our hands full taking care of GOD’s creation here on earth…praying for and unselfishly seeking the best for each other, fulfilling our responsibility to stewardship excellence of the earth and all living things. When we serve our purpose in this way, we are blessed with the fruit of our obedience.

1 Corinthians 15:40 AMP – There are also heavenly bodies [sun, moon and stars] and earthly bodies [humans, animals, and plants], but the glory and beauty of the heavenly is one kind, and the glory of the earthly is another.

While we strive to master taking care of where we live, being attentive to our assignment on earth, we are cautioned not to give ourselves to idolatrous passions and exploits that lead to destruction.

Deuteronomy 4:19 AMP – And beware that you do not raise your eyes toward heaven and see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, and let yourselves be led astray and worship them and serve them, [mere created bodies] which the Lord your God has allotted to [serve and benefit] all the peoples under the whole heaven.

Prayer: Omnificent GOD, You who have created the heavens and the earth, we praise You for Your mighty acts, we praise You for Your excellent greatness! Please forgive us for neglecting our assignment to the earth, thereby causing our environment to be fractured and in need of healing. Forgive us for making idols out of Your created things. May our eyes be laser-focused on Your perfect will, staying fastened to what You have commanded us to do so that we may benefit from the fruit of our obedience. In JESUS’ Name. Amen.

Love Always,
