Greetings, Loved Ones, on this Friday, New Year’s Eve! I praise GOD for this amazing new day and I will rejoice and be glad in it!
Let’s close out this year with thanksgiving to GOD, the Creator and Sustainer of all life. The fact that you’re able to read today’s message bespeaks the awesome love, mercy and grace that covers you. This year has been filled with the complications of a pandemic that continue to spiral in directions that baffle our intellect. Despite the world gone mad, let’s look forward to walking into the new year having left anger, regret, resentment, hurt, disappointment and the things we cannot change. There is one significant fact about our yesterdays, they’re behind us and we cannot go back and change anything.
You may be listing your new year’s resolutions or recommitting to things you are still determined to accomplish. Don’t leave GOD out of your plans. That’s the surefire way to fail in achieving your goals. Instead, subscribe to the instructions in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (AMP), “be unceasing and persistent in prayer.”
Include the LORD in your everyday plans. Proverbs 16:3 (AMP) directs us to, “Commit your works to the LORD [submit and trust them to Him], and your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance].”
Finally, acknowledge, embrace and celebrate the fruit of the Spirit described in Galatians 5:22-23 (AMP) as you navigate through the year ahead. “But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.”
May you find the New Year 2022 to be an amazingly blessed journey, one that will have you rejoicing and giving GOD continual praise and thanksgiving!
Prayer: FATHER, thank You for bringing us through 2021 having learned valuable lessons and experiences that prepare us for the journey ahead. Help us to define and refine ourselves in You. You are our Everything, the One is Good and Perfect. In JESUS’ Name, we pray. Amen.
Love Always,
