Be Still and Know that I Am God
Loved Ones, where I am it’s a bright, beautiful Wednesday morning even though the winter chill is definitely present. It’s a reminder that nature is resting, rejuvenating and preparing for its next season of bursting into new life.
In whichever time zone we live, if we pay close attention as each season wanes to make way for the next, we can witness GOD’s manifold greatness at work. The quiet procession that fills the air reminds us to, “Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am GOD. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10 AMP)
Let’s commit to being in tune with what GOD is doing by seeking His wisdom to handle our responsibilities to love and protect the earth as He does us.
Psalm 8:1-9 (AMP)
O Lord, our Lord, How majestic and glorious and excellent is Your name in all the earth! You have displayed Your splendor above the heavens.
Out of the mouths of infants and nursing babes You have established strength Because of Your adversaries, That You might silence the enemy and make the revengeful cease.
When I see and consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have established, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of [earthborn] man that You care for him?
Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You have crowned him with glory and honor.
You made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen, and also the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, whatever passes through the paths of the seas.
O Lord, our Lord, How majestic and glorious and excellent is Your name in all the earth!
Love Always,
