God’s Purpose and Plan for You
Loved Ones, it’s Friday and we woke up to another awesome day that the LORD has made. So, let’s rejoice and be glad in it. Make every day…Celebrate LOVE Day!
Do you spend time at the end of the week evaluating the whats…what you accomplished, what you need to work harder on and what fell to the bottom of your to-do list? Along with the things you want/need to work harder to accomplish, pay attention to those things that keep recycling to the top of your list at the beginning of the week only to keep tumbling to the last place by the week’s end. Will doing them give you satisfaction and peace? Are those things related to achieving GOD’s purpose and plan for your life?
GOD’s Word provides guidance to help us achieve those things that pertain to life and godliness.
Psalm 18:30 AMP – As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.
John 15:5 AMP – I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for [otherwise] apart from Me [that is, cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.
Here are four key instructions to guide you to live your life full of purpose. The fourth is a bonus!
- 1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 AMP – Rejoice always and delight in your faith; be unceasing and persistent in prayer;
- Ephesians 4:28 NLT – …use your hands for good hard work, and then give generously to others in need.
- 1 Thessalonians 5:18 AMP – in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.
- Repeat 1-3!
May you enjoy a blessed, relaxing and peaceful weekend!
Prayer: Now may the God of peace [the source of serenity and spiritual well-being] who brought up from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood that sealed and ratified the eternal covenant, equip you with every good thing to carry out His will and strengthen you [making you complete and perfect as you ought to be], accomplishing in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. (Hebrews 13:20-21 AMP)
