Have Faith in God and His Wisdom
Greetings, Loved Ones, on this Monday, a marvelous new day! The white blanket of winter is yet again covering the ground where I live. I am confident that in a short time, the earth will rebound in a colorful display of pastels and greenery.
The calendar says the vernal equinox, the first day of Spring is March 20. I believe we’ve learned from experience that the vernal equinox, that is when the amount of sunshine is approximately 12 hours long in the northern hemisphere, has nothing to do with the variable weather conditions we are likely to experience. Yet, we have the faith to believe that Spring will usher in sunny, warmer days.
We develop faith in what we know by experience, a dependence on what has been proven. What about having faith for what we haven’t experienced? What about having faith to believe that things will turn out favorably when we have run out of our own failed solutions? How difficult is it to believe the promises of GOD…to rely on His instructions?
Relinquishing what we think we know and asking GOD for His wisdom to apply sound decisions to our everyday life produces amazing results. Faith in GOD and His Wisdom move obstacles out of the way and shift the impossible to the possible.
Mark 11:22 AMP – Jesus replied, “Have faith in God [constantly].”
James 1:5-7 AMP – If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him. But he must ask [for wisdom] in faith, without doubting [God’s willingness to help], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind. For such a person ought not to think or expect that he will receive anything [at all] from the Lord.
Ephesians 3:20-21 AMP – Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.
Prayer: Omniscient GOD, You have all knowledge of everything. Please forgive us for spinning our wheels trying to do things our way while You wait for us to turn to You. As we have faith in You and seek Your wisdom, show us how to accomplish all things with excellence. In JESUS’ Name, we pray. Amen.
Love Always,
