Overcoming the Challenges of Life
Greetings, Loved Ones, on this extraordinarily blessed Wednesday! Rejoice in the LORD and be glad!
James 1:2-4 AMP – Consider it nothing but joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you fall into various trials. Be assured that the testing of your faith [through experience] produces endurance [leading to spiritual maturity, and inner peace]. And let endurance have its perfect result and do a thorough work, so that you may be perfect and completely developed [in your faith], lacking in nothing.
When we experience the challenges in life that affect us…try to slow us down, stop us in our tracks…we know these challenges serve a purpose. If we don’t experience any resistance to sharpen our faith and trust in GOD’s Word, we’ll never know His promises to be true.
Galatians 5:22-23 AMP – But the fruit of the Spirit [the result of His presence within us] is love [unselfish concern for others], joy, [inner] peace, patience [not the ability to wait, but how we act while waiting], kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Challenges arise in our lives but how we handle ourselves is the lesson to learn so that we can move on in our journey being assured that our loving GOD sees us and hears our prayers. He guides and protects us with every turn of events.
Mark 11:22-25 – Jesus replied, “Have faith in God [constantly]. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and does not doubt in his heart [in God’s unlimited power], but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him [in accordance with God’s will]. For this reason I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer [in accordance with God’s will], believe [with confident trust] that you have received them, and they will be given to you. Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him [drop the issue, let it go], so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions and wrongdoings [against Him and others].
Prayer: Omnipotent GOD, thank You for Your Words that shepherd us through the difficulties of life. Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a bright light upon our paths. We trust Your wisdom and thank You for keeping us in Your arms of safety. In JESUS’ Name. Amen.
Love Always,
