Greetings, Loved Ones, on this Wednesday morning’s unveiling the marvels of this new day! It is praiseworthy to celebrate GOD’s phenomenal love!
GOD’s love is a tapestry of golden threads that are woven throughout the Bible from the beginning as revealed in Genesis all the way to our promised destination in Revelation. I am in awe that GOD loves us so much that He has written in intricate detail the love He has for us and the relationship He desires to have with us who were created in His image and after His likeness. How would we ever know who we are unless He gave us the volumes of His Word to instruct us on how to live the love life?
This Christmas season is a perfect time to acknowledge and celebrate GOD’s love for us. The perfect Gift He gave us, His Son, colors the tapestry with a brilliance that we have yet to fully appreciate.
John 3:16-17 (AMP) – “For God so [greatly] loved and dearly prized the world, that He [even] gave His [One and] only begotten Son, so that whoever believes and trusts in Him [as Savior] shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge and condemn the world [that is, to initiate the final judgment of the world], but that the world might be saved through Him.
Here’s what JESUS had to say on the matter of love…
Mark11:29-31 (AMP) – Jesus answered, “The first and most important one is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul (life), and with all your mind (thought, understanding), and with all your strength.’ This is the second: ‘You shall [unselfishly] love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
1 John 4:8 (AMP) – The one who does not love has not become acquainted with God [does not and never did know Him], for God is love. [He is the originator of love, and it is an enduring attribute of His nature.]
It’s clear to me that GOD’s love is the foundation, the centerpiece and the awesome grand processional into eternity.
Revelation 15:3 (AMP)
And they sang the song of Moses, the bond-servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and wonderful and awe-inspiring are Your works [in judgment], O Lord God, the Almighty [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all]; Righteous and true are Your ways, O King of the nations!
Prayer: Loving GOD, thank You for weaving us into Your beautiful tapestry of love. Thank You that when we go to sleep and when we wake up, we’re wrapped up in Your love. At no time are we separated from Your love. At this season where Your love is expressed in such colorful array, may we be overjoyed to share it with others. In JESUS’ Name, we pray. Amen.
Love Always,
