It is an awesome Friday morning, Loved Ones, and another one in which to praise GOD from whom all blessings flow!

Psalm 9:1 (AMP) – I will give thanks and praise the LORD, with all my heart; I will tell aloud all Your wonders and marvelous deeds.

GOD is worthy of all our praise. He holds the balance of our lives in His hands at every moment. Our ability to move, think and choose life or death come from His abundant love for us. We read in Psalm 103:1-2 (AMP), Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul, And all that is [deep] within me, bless His holy name. Bless and affectionately praise the LORD, O my soul, And do not forget any of His benefits.

Consider all that we experience during our day, all the people we meet and the places we travel that we pray, hope and believe are safe. When danger is lurking around dark corners, GOD sees and directs us away from it so no harm will come to us. He protects us when we aren’t aware that the enemy has set traps to entangle and threaten our lives. GOD knows and He secures us with the cover of His loving protection allowing us to return home safely at the end of our day’s journeys. GOD is worthy of our praises…He loves us like that!

It is confirmed in GOD’s Word according to Psalm 91:1-7 (AMP), He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand]. I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, My GOD, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely]!”

For He will save you from the trap of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you and completely protect you with His pinions, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and a wall.

You will not be afraid of the terror of night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction (sudden death) that lays waste at noon. A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand, but danger will not come near you.

Praise GOD! I believe you most likely have had many opportunities to praise and thank Him for rescuing you from perilous situations. Looking back, I imagine you shudder to think what could have happened had it not been for GOD’s protection over you. I have had many dangerous experiences in my life and I can testify to the fact that GOD has been and continues to be my Protector. I cannot praise and thank Him enough for all that He has brought me through. I would not be so foolish as to neglect to give Him the praise He so richly deserves.

The apostle Paul, who experienced so many trials and adverse situations, never failed to give GOD praise first as he greeted the churches in his letters. He wrote in Ephesians 1:3 (AMP), “Blessed and worthy of praise be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ.”

Prayer: FATHER GOD, we cannot praise and worship You enough for how wonderful You are! You deserve so much more from us than we give. Please forgive us when we fail to praise You in the ways You deserve. Cause us to recognize more and more how dependent we are on You and how You love us in spite of ourselves. We do love You and thank You for giving us life in You. In JESUS’ name, we pray. Amen.
